Just Checking In!

Well the house is just coming right along. They should start on the roof by then end of this week and the brick next week. That is so exciting to use since Lance and I have never built before. It has FOR SURE been an experience so far. We have picked everything out except for the light fixtures. The builder tells us that we are still on schedule to close around mid Oct. My favorite thing so far has been the electrical outlets that we added to the eve lights outside for Christmas lights.... BRILLIANT.. who ever came up with that idea.... I have included some pics for you.

As for the Maui plans.... All as been taken care of.. Our flights were only $1000. We were SO EXCITED about that. That is so cheap. We are flying into Seattle on Friday and spending the night there and leaving out Saturday morning, then coming back to Seattle and spending the night again, and coming back to Nashville on Saturday. That way we won't be traveling for such long periods of time at once. I don't do that well.. I get VERY cranky. NOT GOOD!!! Thanks to Lance and all of this traveling over the years, that those hotel rooms were free too. God has been so good to us financially. I have even gotten an unexpected 9% raise 2 weeks ago. DESERVED... but unexpected nonetheless. I put a "self portrait" on here of Lance and I that we took on July 4th.

All of you remember that our Luau/Reception is scheduled for October 25th. Save the date.

As for an update on PETE AND REPEAT (AKA Abby and Ally) They are doing good. We are struggling on the school situation right now.. I am just holding my breath that Ally gets into Beech Elementary, but if not, I am at peace with her going to Madison Creek. (Look after her Heather). I just won't know anything till the 8th. Abby is ready for middle school at Hunter... Me... NOT SO MUCH. I have to drop her off... Not sure how that is going to work out. She is getting into boys and wants to wear make up... and yeah.. I'm just not ready. She needs to go back to diapers, I can handle that A LOT BETTER. When she couldn't talk back to me and didn't act like I was the dumbest human on the planet. Anyway.. we are leaving next Friday for "family vacation" and when I say family.. I do mean family... Me, Lance and the girls, my brother, and this wife, dad and his girlfriend Diane, and her son, wife and 2 kids. CAN ANYONE SAY CHAOS???? It will be OK though.. We will be on the beach. How bad can it really be. I will let you know when I get back.
